Objective of the clinical study
Compare the efficacy of OObrush® to a reference electric toothbrush, which has been the subject of numerous clinical studies
Methodology
Two randomly chosen groups of 21 third-year students each using either OObrush® or the reference brush for the duration of the clinical study (5 weeks)
Plaque index* measured at the beginning and at the end of the clinical study
Results
Greater reduction of the plaque index for OObrush® (-27.4%) compared to the reference brush (-2.1%)
Significantly better cleaning in particular of the interproximal sectors (interdental spaces) with OObrush®

Objective of the clinical study
Compare the efficacy of OObrush® to the patients’ usual brushing technique
Methodology
Two randomly chosen groups of 20 patients from the Gaston Berger Dental Center:
- Group A: brushing with OObrush® the first week and the patients’ usual brushing technique the second week
- Group B: brushing with the patients’ usual brushing technique the first week and OObrush® the second week
Plaque index* measured before and after brushing at the end of the first week and before and after brushing at the end of the second week
Results
Greater reduction in plaque by 14.6% with OObrush® compared with the patients’ usual brushing technique
Superior results in particular on the lingual areas (inside surfaces) and interproximal spaces with OObrush®
Qualitative questionnaire after one month’s use: 87% are “completely satisfied†or “satisfied†with OObrush®
